We care about the safety of your account. The following information and guidelines help you get the most out of ShiftGrabber while keeping your courier account safe:

Shifts / Open runs explained:

The grabber is designed to catch from open runs so it depends on how busy your area is and if another driver drops a shift. If some days or weeks you noticed the grabber has been catching less shifts then it does not mean there is any issue on your account/grabber it would simply be for the reason of less shifts in your area for the grabber to catch and we are not able to make more for you. We do not also prioritise certain customers; the grabber we provide is the same for all. If you have noticed the grabber is not catching shifts or overflows for a few days then you can reach out to our customer service team on WhatsApp.

Overflows explained:

Overflows within the app is designed not to catch all of them as this can send a red flag to your courier, it's just a safety feature we have put in place. So if you have noticed 1 or 2 in the week where the grabber does not catch them then it would not mean there is an issue with your account it would be for the reason stated above, keeping your account safe while catching shifts and overflows is what we do best.

There are 2 types of overflows your grabber can catch, one which is added onto your shift just like an overtime which appears green on the map and the other which your courier would add onto open runs as a shift which the grabber would catch normally, this can be caught even if you don’t have overflows turned on as it was placed onto open runs as a normal shift.

Miscellaneous:

  1. If ever you need to delete the grabber from your device make sure to stop the connection and log out first otherwise you will not be able to log back in and you will get an error of multiple logins. If you get this error reach out to us on WhatsApp.
  2. The grabber is designed to catch shifts not remove them and we are not able to check issues on your courier app. A few things you can do on your side to make sure your shifts never get removed.
  3. Make sure you’re not connected on the grabber 24/7 as explained in our Security Guidelines
  4. Checking in on a shift after it has started or if you don’t check in at all will result in your shifts getting dropped by your courier so always double check your shifts. You can always change your courier password which might fix this but make sure to log out and log back in on the grabber with the new details.
  5. We update the app regularly in terms of security keeping everyone using it safe at all times. Everyone using our app and following our security guidelines is secure, we have members using our app for more than 2 years with no issue.

Security Guidelines:

It's important that you follow all the security guidelines listed under to help keep your courier account safe:

  1. Only use one grabber at a time. If for any reason our service doesn't work well you always have a choice to cancel and try something else. If it's working well for you there is no need to run any other grabber as you are putting yourself under risk.
  2. Only use one device to run the grabber and never run the grabber on multiple devices. If in any case you are not using your old phone anymore, always switch the connection off logout from the app and then install and run in your new device. In other unforeseen circumstances like losing your phone or any other technical issue feel free to contact us so we can provide the best solution.
  3. There is no need to swipe in open runs on your justeat app when the grabber is running because essentially the grabber is doing the same thing in the background so by swiping in open runs while the grabber is running you are just slowing down your speed by producing more errors. Simply let the grabber run in the background and let it do its job.
  4. Avoid leaving the grabber running 24/7 or for very long hours. 95% of shifts are available during the day and evening which means there is no point leaving the grabber running overnight.
